The year is 2004, you get home from elementary school and it's 3pm, your turn on MTV and Viva La Bam is on. Life is good. Fast forward a quick 15 years or so and 2020 hits, not so good. Thankfully, the Pond Life Party gang have got you covered with nothing shy of arguably one of the biggest releases of the year.

Based out of Nottingham, UK, Pond Life Party is run by one of our favorite producers at the moment, Daseplate; and their 9th release is coming from none other than Frost. We knew this release was going to be a must have from the moment we heard a clip on Instagram a few weeks back. 'CKY RIP' is exactly as described, pulling the tune's main melody from one of the most iconic punk rock tunes from the early 2000's, CKY's 96 Quite Bitter Beings. Frost has us absolutely jaw-dropped with this one, a complete reinvention of a melody we've been familiar with for the majority of our lifetime! Incredibly executed; we suspect this tune is going to do quite some damage to dance floors when the world's back to normal. The other track on the record 'Same Old' chills things out a bit, floating in violin riffs in and out offering up nothing shy of goosebumps.

Fifty copies go up on sale December 14th, 7pm GMT (2pm EST) over on Pond Life's website. Purchase of a record is going to be the only way to score the digitals of this release, but thankfully you'll be able to listen on all major streaming platforms come December 21st. Did we mention there's also 2 bonus tracks included? Be sure to check out the showreel below and keep an eye out for all Pond Life and Frost releases to come!
